These are used during conductor/earth wire paying out in uneven terrain or when paying out is to be done from damaged conductor drums. The different part of the bodies is fabricated from High Tension Steel extrusion. The central shaft rotates on Tapper roller bearing. The breaking arrangement facilitates reducing/stopping rotational speed of drum.
